Kentucky Private College Week FAQ

What is Kentucky Private College Week?

Good question. It’s a chance for you (and your family, or anyone else you want to drag along) to visit multiple Kentucky colleges and universities in a convenient, fun atmosphere. Each campus hosts visitors at 9 am and 2 pm (local time) each day. Visits include tours and information sessions about admissions and financial aid. Each visit lasts about 2 hours. The convenient common visit schedule means that you can schedule two visits per day (up to 10 during the week). And you can schedule all the visits online at the same time.

What colleges and universities participate?

Alice Lloyd College, Asbury University, Bellarmine University, Berea College, Brescia University, Campbellsville University, Centre College, Georgetown College, Kentucky Christian University, Kentucky Wesleyan College, Lindsey Wilson College, Mid-Continent University, Midway College, Pikeville College, St. Catharine College, Spalding University, Thomas More College, Transylvania University, Union College, and University of the Cumberlands.

Why should you schedule campus visits during PCW?

The college visit is the most important factor in determining if a campus is the right fit for you. It’s a good way for you to begin the process of visiting different schools and learning more about what each has to offer. PCW is convenient – you can schedule all your visits online, you can visit a lot of campuses in a short period of time, and since all of KY’s nonprofit private colleges and universities are participating it gives you a good frame of reference when you start comparing schools. You can save time and gas.

What’s next?

REGISTER to visit up to 10 campuses during PCW. Then tell your friends. After all, a road trip is better when it’s shared.
